The upcoming “Skills for Tomorrow” training course represents the 4th major activity of Asociatia Babilon Travel’s  Youth Accreditation 2023 (A8). Funded by the European Union and coordinated by Asociatia Babilon Travel, this mobility brings together partners from Escola Básica Integrada de Angra (Portugal), MyArtist (Greece) and the Council for Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency – SPPMD (North Macedonia). It aims to enhance the professional capacity of youth workers, empowering them to support better the employability of young people, particularly those with disabilities.

This training course is scheduled to take place in Terceira, Portugal, from October 11th to October 15th, 2024 (working days). During this period, 30 participants, including youth workers with and without sensory disabilities, will engage in a series of workshops, discussions and practical activities that will strengthen their critical thinking and soft skills and equip them with effective strategies to help young people with disabilities overcome employment barriers.

“Skills for Tomorrow” offers a valuable opportunity for youth workers from Romania, Portugal, Greece and North Macedonia to collaborate, exchange ideas and develop skills that will contribute to long-term improvements in youth employability. The training course emphasizes inclusivity, skill development and practical solutions to address employability challenges for young people with disabilities across Europe.
