Asociația Babilon Travel is a non-profit organisation based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We have been active since 2013 and we organise non-formal education projects and activities together with partner organisations from different European and non-European countries

Our vision is that individual perception of the world in which we live is different for each of us. The Universe, seen as the place and time where all our worlds coexist and interact, can be better, more enjoyable, and even happier, if the differences between these worlds become parts of unifying bridges instead of bricks in dividing walls.

Our journey
We started as a local initiative and, over time, we extended our cooperation through international projects. Since 2013, we have taken part in cross-border activities with partner organisations, hosting and sending participants depending on the project format and participating as a partner and coordinator in Strategic Cooperation projects, besides implementing local projects.
Our scope of activities
We implement KA1 (youth exchanges and training courses) and KA2 projects and activities on topics such as youth participation and active citizenship, employability and life skills, environmental sustainability, digital skills and media literacy, and sport or outdoor learning used as educational tools. Depending on the activity and participants’ needs, we may use accessible communication, adapted materials, and practical support so that participants with disabilities and other fewer opportunities can participate effectively.
Some of these projects are co-funded by the European Union which is our biggest donor and helps us implement our projects and reach our objectives.
