Babilon Travel NGO recently had the opportunity to participate in a Training for Trainers course on Digital Competences in Lithuania, in alignment with the European Training Strategy (ETS). This experience allowed our team to significantly develop and improve their digital skills while exploring innovative methods to make online learning more engaging. The course emphasized the importance of digital transformation in youth work, providing the participants with practical knowledge and insights.
Throughout the training, we were introduced to various tools and strategies that can revolutionize the way we approach digital learning. The experience was not only educational but also rewarding, as we earned open badges and certificates to mark our progress and achievements.
We thank our partner Awero, formerly known as Nectarus, for coordinating this valuable experience. Their efforts made this training a memorable event, equipping us with the skills and knowledge we are eager to implement in our work and make a positive impact in our community and beyond.

“Accessible travel solutions for visual impaired Persons” ATS for VIP“ is an Erasmus+ KA2 Adult Education project.Travel by people with disabilities, also known as “disabled travel” or “accessible travel,” is on the rise. The travel industry is waking up to the special needs of travelers with disabilities by providing more services and greater accommodation.
ATSVIP’s main project objective is trough development of barrier-free tourism OER and cross-traffic navigation solutions, to make traveling accessible and safety for blind and visually impaired people, the ASTVIP project aim is to improve the mobility and quality of life of these people all around Europe.

Today, on our monthly on-line meeting with partners, we agreed on the procedure of selecting participants, based on a common info pack and application form. The agreed deadline is settled for July 1st, 2021.
The preparatory meeting with the selected participants was detailed and the necessary documents were presented and agreed.

- COVID-19 situation in each country;
- The risk management plan.

Today we had our first real-life activity in 2021.
The event finalized a training course for accompanying persons of disabled people/youngsters, and took place in the Central Park of Cluj-Napoca. It was organized by Asociatia Babilon Travel in partnership with Kory Francisc Sport Club Association.
