ATSVIP: The Training

“Accessible travel solutions for visual impaired Persons” ATS for VIP“ is an Erasmus+ KA2 Adult Education project.

Travel by people with disabilities, also known as “disabled travel” or “accessible travel,” is on the rise. The travel industry is waking up to the special needs of travelers with disabilities by providing more services and greater accommodation.

ATSVIP’s main project objective is trough development of barrier-free tourism OER and cross-traffic navigation solutions, to make traveling accessible and safety for blind and visually impaired people, the ASTVIP project aim is to improve the mobility and quality of life of these people all around Europe.

DiCreNDi: Preparing the training course

Today, on our monthly on-line meeting with partners, we agreed on the procedure of selecting participants, based on a common info pack and  application form. The agreed deadline is settled for July 1st, 2021.

The preparatory meeting with the selected participants was detailed and the necessary documents were presented and agreed.

Partners also discussed:

  • COVID-19 situation in each country;
  • The risk management plan.

Our first real-life activity in 2021

Today we had our first real-life activity in 2021.
The event finalized a training course for accompanying persons of disabled people/youngsters, and took place in the Central Park of Cluj-Napoca. It was organized by Asociatia Babilon Travel in partnership with Kory Francisc Sport Club Association.

We are now ready to start our second main activity, a youth exchange, relatad to our international project – The Inclusionist
