GreenAbility

Erasmus+ KA-151 Youth Project

project financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union

Representing the fourth main activity of the Youth Accreditation project 2022, funded by the European Union, the Youth Exchange titled “GreenAbility” is developed by Asociatia Babilon Travel and collaborates with 5 other partners in its implementation: The Technological Special High School for Deaf from Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Istituto dei Sordi di Torino (Italy), AzBuki (Serbia), Škola sa domom za ucenike ostecenog sluha i govora “11maj” (Serbia), MyArtist Pyreas (Greece).

The project aims to create impactful and non-formal learning experiences by promoting environmental awareness through green, outdoor and sustainable activities, encouraging participants to explore and appreciate the natural environment. This allows them, including those with visual and hearing impairments, to explore eco-friendly initiatives, sustainability practices, and the importance of environmental responsibility together.

The Youth Exchange takes place at Straja Resort, Romania, from September 2nd to September 8th 2023, bringing together 50 youngsters to learn practical skills related to eco-friendly practices in a multicultural and inclusive setting. They work together in engaging workshops, discussions, inclusive sessions, low rope challenges and cultural exchanges, collaborating in order to create and carry out environmental activities that promote sustainability and green practices.
