PRESS RELEASE
Cluj-Napoca, Romania, 24 of April, 2023

DEMOCRACY WEEK IN KRISTIANSAND

Erasmus+ Accreditation Youth 2022 Project
project financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union

The consortium of 5 partners continues the second activity of the Accreditation Youth 2022 project, a study visit, financed by the European Union and developed by Asociatia Babilon Travel in partnership with Projekte Vullnetare Nderkombetare (Albania), ICSI (Kosovo), FIDA (Norway) and SPPMD – Council for Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency (North Macedonia).

The project focus on supporting 23 youth workers to understand democracy on an international level by participating in different events dedicated to democracy understanding and development, including open discussions and debates with local and international institutions, NGOs that are active in this field, and social inclusion. Participants will not only experience good practices about democracy but will also discover the adapted infrastructure and inclusive services provided by the local community.

To achieve its objectives, a Study Visit is held in Kristiansand, Norway, 2-6th of May, 2023.

All the activities are held in the Erasmus+ spirit and are based on non-formal education methods and tools in an inclusive and adapted way, considering the presence of visually impaired/blind participants (study visits, working groups, debriefings, free discussions, workshops, teambuilding exercises, energizers, reflections, presentations etc.).
