Young people from Romania, Serbia, Portugal, Hungary, and North Macedonia will come together in Sibiu this January for the international youth exchange “Decoding Disinformation (DeCode)”, taking place between 11–19 January 2026 (travel days included). The exchange will bring 30 young participants, including youngsters with fewer opportunities and sensory disabilities, 5 youth leaders and 5 accompanying persons, who will work together to better understand how misinformation spreads online and how it influences society and everyday decision-making.
The mobility had a Preparatory Visit on 13 December 2025, during which youth leaders and coordinators from the partner organizations met in Sibiu to finalize practical arrangements, ensure accessibility measures, and shape the educational programme in a way that reflects the needs of the participating groups. This visit strengthened cooperation and guaranteed a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
