“Empower-Up”
Erasmus+ KA-151 Youth Project
project financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
“Empower-Up” Youth Exchange marks the 5th major activity of the Youth Accreditation project 2022, funded by the European Union. Developed by Asociatia Babilon Travel, it brings together a collaborative effort of the following partners: Peace Volunteering Network (Albania), AzBuki (Serbia), Taekwondo Klub Maksimir (Croatia), Karabaglar District Governorship (Türkiye) and Asociacion AELV (Spain). Together, they seek to create a transformative experience for diverse young individuals, fostering inclusivity and skill development.
“Empower-Up” aims to bring young people together, including those with disabilities and fewer opportunities, alongside their typical peers. This unique project aims to strengthen essential employability skills, including critical thinking and problem-solving, through interactive activities and discussions. In a collaborative and supportive environment, youngsters can not only learn, but also share experiences and develop strengthened skills and a profound sense of inclusivity.
The Youth Exchange takes place in Durres, Albania, from the 18th of March until the 24th of March, 2024. During this time, 24 young individuals and 6 youth leaders will engage in activities promoting teamwork, cultural exchange and skill development. “Empower-Up” is committed to leaving a lasting positive impact, equipping individuals with the necessary tools and confidence for success in the dynamic landscape of today’s professional world.
