Desk Research Report – Inclusive Evolution 2025

As part of the Inclusive Evolution 2025 project, our organization coordinated a desk research activity focused on inclusion, youth participation, and employability of young people with fewer opportunities, particularly those with visual and hearing impairments. The research was carried out in August 2025 and aimed to identify good practices, useful tools, and relevant actors in the field of inclusive youth work across Europe.

The report provides an overview of inclusive methodologies and non-formal education approaches that support the development of essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving. It highlights how tactile, audio-based, and multi-sensory tools can be successfully integrated into mixed-ability group activities, making learning accessible and meaningful for all participants. Examples of ongoing projects, training formats, and assistive technologies are presented as practical inspiration for youth workers and organizations.

In addition, the research includes a mapping of key stakeholders, including NGOs, networks, public bodies, and disability-led groups actively working in the fields of inclusion and youth empowerment. This mapping will support the development of new partnerships and collaborations within the Inclusive Evolution 2025 network and beyond.

The findings of the report also highlight existing gaps, such as the need for more structured soft skills training for young people with sensorial impairments and the limited visibility of inclusive mobility opportunities. Based on these insights, the report proposes recommendations for youth workers, NGOs, educators, and policymakers on how to design accessible and sustainable activities that encourage full participation and autonomy.

The full Desk Research Report is available below and is intended as a practical resource for organizations and professionals working to strengthen inclusion in international youth work.

Partnership Networking Conference – Budapest, July 2025

In July 2025, our organization hosted the Partnership Networking Conference in Budapest, Hungary, bringing together representatives from our European partner network. The event was part of the Inclusive Evolution 2025 project and gathered organizations working in youth development, social inclusion, education, and community engagement. The conference offered a valuable space to strengthen collaboration, share experiences, and build new strategic directions for the future.

Over two days, participants presented examples of good practices, discussed challenges in their local contexts, and shared results from ongoing projects. The sessions also included time for open networking, allowing partners to connect, exchange ideas, and reflect on how collaboration can support inclusive youth work across Europe.

The second day of the conference focused on planning and strategic development. Through group discussions and interactive workshops, the participants worked together to outline joint priorities and shape ideas for upcoming international initiatives. The process encouraged active cooperation and inspired new opportunities for partnership.

The Partnership Networking Conference highlighted the importance of long-term cooperation and the collective commitment of our network to supporting inclusion, participation, and youth empowerment. We look forward to continuing this shared work and building new initiatives that have a positive impact in our communities.

A detailed Activity Report from the conference will be available below.
