Inclusive Evolution 2023, a visionary project initiated with the support of the European Union, signed its contract in May
2023. From the moment the contract was made, our dedicated team wasted no time in jumping into action, carefully committed to
realizing the ambitious goals outlined in the project application. It has been a period of intense collaboration, innovation, and
unyielding determination. The path we’ve taken has had its fair share of difficulties, which is common when doing something new and important. But every problem we’ve faced has made us even more determined. As we move forward, we are excited about the limitless potential and the positive impact that Inclusive Evolution 2023 promises to bring to our region and beyond.
In our dedicated efforts to support the Inclusive Evolution 2023, we took the initiative to create a comprehensive and informative info pack tailored specifically for the upcoming Partnership Networking Conference. This invaluable resource has been meticulously crafted to provide our partners and attendees with essential insights, detailed schedules, and valuable resources, enhancing the overall conference experience and facilitating meaningful exchanges that will further the cause of inclusivity and positive evolution. As part of our commitment to ensuring the success of the Inclusive Evolution 2023 and fostering international collaboration, we proactively reached out to the European Partners network and extended warm invitations to join us at the conference. This strategic outreach not only underscores our dedication to inclusivity but also aims to create a diverse and dynamic forum for knowledge sharing and networking, aligning perfectly with the overarching goals of our project. One of the standout moments within Inclusive Evolution 2023 was our enthusiastic participation in the follow-up to the European Year of Youth 2022. In line with our commitment to inclusivity and breaking down barriers, Forthech organized a memorable marathon on the 24th of June. What made this marathon truly special was the participation of our young individuals with hearing and visual impairments or blindness. They teamed up, demonstrating remarkable unity and resilience, to cover the challenging 7-kilometer route in tandem.
The event garnered significant attention and participation, with more than 800 people joining in. We couldn’t be prouder that our exceptional participants were among them. Their dedication and determination shone brightly as they successfully completed the marathon, inspiring everyone in attendance. The sight of them crossing the finish line was a powerful symbol of the possibilities that open up when inclusivity is at the forefront. Another big achievement of Inclusive Evolution project was the creation of the 3 deliverables, which has been dedicated to fostering inclusivity and empowerment within our community. This initiative has yielded three invaluable deliverables that promise to make a profound impact. In the pursuit of empowering individuals from all walks of life,
we have meticulously crafted a Handbook on Empowerment. This comprehensive guide is designed to equip individuals, organizations, and communities with the knowledge and tools needed to empower themselves and others. In our commitment to enhancing accessibility and mobility for everyone, we are proud to introduce the Handbook on Mobility specifically tailored to the needs of the visually impaired and blind. This handbook offers practical guidance on navigating the world with confidence, providing tips, resources, and innovative solutions to overcome mobility challenges. It is a vital resource in ensuring that nobody is left behind in our evolving society. Collaboration is at the heart of progress, and the Inclusive Evolution 2023 project has compiled a comprehensive Report on Suitable Partners for Projects. This meticulously researched report identifies potential collaborators and partners for various initiatives, ensuring that future projects have the support and expertise needed for success. It serves as a valuable resource for organizations looking to expand their networks and create meaningful change.
At Babilon Travel NGO, this year has brought forth another exciting chapter of growth and impact through our remarkable project, Inclusive Evolution 2023. We’re thrilled to share that our journey kicked off with an exceptional event at the end of July – a Partnership Networking Conference that left an indelible mark!
This conference was a convergence of minds, an assembly of old and new partners, and representatives from our esteemed collaborators within the European network. We extended an invitation to NGOs, public institutions, academic bodies, and other stakeholders who share our vision of inclusivity and progress. Throughout the conference, we learned by exploration, dialogue, and inspiration. Our focuswas clear: to discuss and showcase exemplary instances of good practices, case studies, and the remarkable outcomes of both past and ongoing projects, new project ideas and creating new partnerships.
