Inclusive Employability: From European Learning to Organisational Growth

Asociatia Babilon Travel has completed the two international mobility activities organised within the Erasmus+ adult education project Inclusive Employability.

The first activity was an eight-day training course held in Sassari, Italy, from 2 to 11 May 2026, hosted by Mine Vaganti NGO. The programme focused on inclusive adult education, learner-centred methodologies, Universal Design for Learning, career counselling, job coaching, accessibility, assistive technologies and the development of personalised employment pathways for adults with disabilities.

The second activity was a ten-day job-shadowing programme organised in Granada, Spain, from 16 to 27 June 2026, hosted by FundaciĂłn Docete Omnes. Two ABT staff members observed practical approaches to employment support, job coaching, workplace inclusion, assistive technologies and cooperation with employers and other professionals supporting adults with disabilities.

These two mobilities helped our staff gain practical knowledge, discover new working methods and better understand the barriers adults with disabilities may face in education and employment.

In the upcoming period, ABT will disseminate both the participants’ mobility experiences and the knowledge gained. Internal workshops will be organised for our staff members and volunteers, during which the participants will present the methods, tools and good practices learned and discuss how they can be adapted and implemented in our organisation’s activities.

The project represents an important step in the development of Asociatia Babilon Travel. It has strengthened our professional capacity, broadened our perspective on inclusive adult education and helped us better understand how to support different target groups. As a result, we are better prepared to design accessible activities, respond to individual needs and create stronger connections between education, personal development and employment.

Growing in Insight-ability of Mobility

“Growing in Insight-ability of Mobility” (GIM) is the first Capacity Building Youth project coordinated by Asociatia Babilon Travel.

GIM involves 4 partners from Romania, Italy, Argentina and Peru.

The specific aim of GIM is to build competences of youth workers in order to empower inclusion, active participation and entrepreneurial skills of fewer opportunities youth, as well as youth who have minor disabilities, from South America and Europe, excluded on behalf of their impairment, social status, financial status or education.
