InEvo TNG partners meet in Cluj-Napoca to plan, network and straighten their partnership
On 4–5 July 2026, Asociația Babilon Travel organised the InEvo TNG 2026 Partner Networking Conference in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The working sessions took place at Babeș-Bolyai University and brought together 13 representatives from seven organisations and institutions active in youth work, inclusion, education and disability support.
Participants came from Romania, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria and North Macedonia. The organisations represented were Asociația Babilon Travel, Humancentric Foundation, Square of Youth, CUBU, ZIVOT, the Special Technological High School for Hearing Impaired Cluj-Napoca and the Department for Persons with Disabilities of Babeș-Bolyai University.
The conference created a practical space where partners could present their organisations, target groups and recent activities. They also shared educational materials, project results, training methods and examples from their work with young people, youth workers and people with disabilities.
An important part of the first day focused on good practices, difficulties and lessons from previous European projects. Participants worked in pairs on topics such as youth engagement, effective use of resources, long-term results and challenges faced during project implementation. The examples were then discussed with the whole group, allowing participants to compare approaches and identify methods that could also be used in other countries and organisations.
The second day focused on the future direction of the European partner network. Participants discussed common priorities, communication between organisations, partner responsibilities, accessibility standards and the involvement of young people in planning and evaluating activities.
Working groups prepared initial action plans covering possible activities, timelines, partner roles and the resources needed. They also developed and discussed new project ideas related to inclusive youth participation, digital accessibility, media literacy, employability, accessible education and green community activities.
The conference also helped participants understand the experience and expertise available within the network. Youth organisations, a special education institution and a university disability-support department were able to examine the same topics from different professional perspectives.
By the end of the two days, the participants had identified several priorities for future work: more regular communication, clearer responsibilities, better sharing and reuse of existing project materials, stronger accessibility measures and greater participation of young people with fewer opportunities.
The meeting concluded with a final reflection and the presentation of participation certificates. Partners agreed to continue the discussions online, share the action-plan notes and further develop the strongest project ideas identified during the conference.
The Partner Networking Conference was organised under Inclusive Evolution: The Next Generation 2026 – InEvo TNG 2026, co-funded by the European Union. Through this activity, the partner network took another practical step towards more accessible, inclusive and meaningful European youth work.
