Babilon Travel NGO announces the start of the project
BALL for ALL
Project financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
Babilon Travel NGO, our non-governmental organization active in carrying out international Erasmus + projects for the benefit of young people with visual impairments and those with low opportunities, known locally and internationally for its successful implementation of numerous social inclusion projects, announces the launch on 1st August 2020 of the project Ball for All, together with its partners from North Macedonia (Mreza za Dozivotno Ucenje) and Turkey (Karabaglar Kaymakamligi) and the local associated partner, the Highschool for Visual Impaired Cluj-Napoca. End of May 2020 we received the good news, that our KA-1 project BALL FOR ALL has been approved and its starting date will be the 1st of August 2020. Our international partners in this project are Mreza za Dozivotno Ucenje from North Macedonia and Karabaglar Kaymakamligi from Turkey.
BALL FOR ALL aims to respond to the needs of visually impaired young people to be included in society with their peers, to be equally involved in education, culture, sports, social life, etc. Specifically, during the one week activity of this project that will take place in Cluj-Napoca, we will make the sports game goalball (the most popular ball sport in the world for the visually impaired, which become a Paralympic sport in 1976) to become inclusive, for our mixed international teams of the blind and sighted, girls and boys. The practice of sport will be alternated by debates on topics of interest such as the perception of people with disabilities in society, stereotypes and expectations of / from society, social inclusion. Skate-Ring for All is en Erasmus+ Youth project, co-funded by the European Union.The project promotes the participation of young people in sports activities that enable social integration, creating and strengthening personal, social and communicative skills.
The main activity was a youth exchange that took place in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, in January, 2020. (more…)

“The Power of YOU(th)” is an attempt to establish and stimulate a dialogue between European youths on local, national and European level. It will allow youths the opportunity to enter into a conversation and to come to a democratic solution on a European level with peers, teachers and policy makers. Research on local till European level has shown that youths would like to be involved in the process of democratic decision-making. On the other hand there is a huge suspicion towards the government and policy makers and that youths feel that their voice doesn’t matter. (more…)

Asociatia Babilon Travel is part of the Erasmus+ Youth project Skate-Ring for All, co-funded by the European Union.
The aim of project is to promote idea of integration into society and culture young people visually impaired. Visual impaired persons will motivate the other participants to believe in themselves, raise their self-esteem, overcome their fears, discriminations, raise their awareness and become more open towards others. Dear you, Slovenian guys, I love you. I just do, it’s a fact…but I better should find arguments to define this… I love you for all the things you taught me. Even if the project was about “Swim to Live”, you showed me undoubtfully that there are values behind and beyond swimming to live. And they fit values that are deep in my heart and my soul. (more…)
