IN TOUCH: The Seminar in Larissa

Project logoThe first learning-teaching-training activity of the IN TOUCH project is the seminar that will take place in Larissa, during January 12-18, 2020 (including travel days) and it is dedicated to present research and sharing of partners’ best practices.

The goal is to introduce experts and organizations, comparing and sharing partners’ best practices, which will be evaluated by the young people with fewer opportunities.

The secondary goal would be to empower young people with fewer opportunities by fully including them in all stages of the preparation and production of the In Touch Best Practice Report.

The result will be the selection and collation of partner’s best practice for the Partners’ Best Practice Report.

Participants should be Romanian citizens or legal residents in Romania and should be able to use English as working language. They should be:

  • 1 youngster with disabilities or fewer opportunities age 18-30, interested, curious and motivated to develop entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ideas;
  • 3 youth workers, age 18+;
  • 1 accompanying person, age 18+, to support participation and learning of youth with fewer opportunities/disability.

This game aims to make participants aware of the social and solidarity economy. It deals with the economy in general and the ESS in particular. Participants, through scenarios can understand the differences between liberal and ESS economies. They can understand the economic and human consequences of development choices.

Participants will form groups of 3-4 persons and they will have to think of a business they would like to establish. Then they should make a SWOT analysis based on the presentations from the previous day. Templates will be provided.

12:15 – 13:00 Presentation of the SWOT analysis

Each group should make a brief presentation of the SWOT analysis they have created.

13:00 – 14:00 Lunch
14:00 – 15:30 Workshop: “The SMART goals”

Each group have to define the SMART goals of the business they would like to establish.

15:30 – 16:00 Presentations of the SMART goals

Each group will just name the goals they have defined.

16:00 – 17:00 Closure of the training – Distribution of the certificates to the participants
20:00 – 22:00 Dinner
