SUSUC: Training Course in St. Albans

Step Up and Start Up (SUSUC) is a collaboration between Asociatia Babilon Travel (Romania) and other 5 non-profit organisations from 5 European countries: the UK, Latvia, Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia.

In this project, we are exploring the topic of youth employment and entrepreneurship in Europe. It is important to stress that entrepreneurship is a skill that can be learned and is not just the fate for someone born with charisma or successful parents who can invest in their startup. You can become one by developing entrepreneurial mind-set and skills. As Europe needs more entrepreneurs creating jobs, it’s necessary to support this type of education in all EU countries. Growing in Insight-ability of Mobility

“Growing in Insight-ability of Mobility” (GIM) is the first Capacity Building Youth project coordinated by Asociatia Babilon Travel.

GIM involves 4 partners from Romania, Italy, Argentina and Peru.

The specific aim of GIM is to build competences of youth workers in order to empower inclusion, active participation and entrepreneurial skills of fewer opportunities youth, as well as youth who have minor disabilities, from South America and Europe, excluded on behalf of their impairment, social status, financial status or education. One Look, One Culture The Youth Exchange in Perugia

“One look, one culture” Youth Exchange will offer participants the opportunity to discuss the accessibility of European cities for blind and visually impaired people in social, architectural and cultural aspects. They will learn how to create work conditions in intercultural group where members can have special needs.

32 participants from Romania, Macedonia, Poland and Italy will help to improve Perugia’s accessibility for visually impaired people. Continue reading…

Building Skills Through Inclusion: The Youth Exchange

Inclusive Internet Radio: Our next challange

InRadio-Logo-1200-346“Inclusive Internet Radio” (InRadio) is one of many of our approved projects in 2018. It is an Erasmus+ KA-1 youth mobility project where low budget (community) web radio broadcasting is used as a tool of youth participation and social inclusion. It will provide 2 main activities, an advance planning visit (APV) and a youth exchange (YE).

Both activities will be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania: the APV during January 10-13, 2019, and the YE between March 8-16, 2019 (including travel days). Continue reading…
