KEEP FIT: Learn, act inspire! is a brand new Erasmus+ project where Asociatia Babilon Travel is acting as partner and sending organization.
The main activity of the project is a study visit, that will take place in Tirana – Albania, between November 2-9, 2020, and will bring together 24 youth workers, age 18+, from Albania, Romania, Belgium, Greece, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Latvia and Italy.
Main aim of the Study Visit
The project “ Keep fit: learn, act, inspire” aims at spreading good practices; share, learn, inspire and develop skills on healthy lifestyle among youth workers as a way to prevent mental, physical, environmental problems by maintaining a healthy diet, regular mental/physical activity and reducing ecological footprint. Skate-Ring for All is en Erasmus+ Youth project, co-funded by the European Union.The project promotes the participation of young people in sports activities that enable social integration, creating and strengthening personal, social and communicative skills.

The project partners within the project “Accessible Travel Solutions for Visually Impaired Persons” (ATSVIP) held their first kick off meeting on January 13th in Skopje, Macedonia. The project is co-founded by the Erasmus plus Program of the European Commission, Key Action 2.
Project ATSVIP is implemented by a Consortium of 3 partners from 3 European countries (Romania, Spain and Macedonia). Within this project, the ATSVIP consortium will develop accessible travel solutions for visually impaired persons.
The first meeting has been held in Skopje on January 13, 2020 and the project partners were welcomed by the host and leading partner Lifelong Learning Network (LLN) Macedonia. At the meeting, the partners reviewed the envisioned project activities, intellectual outcomes and expected results. The partners agreed to focus on travel solutions for visually impaired persons taking into account existing situation for visually impaired in bus transportation, railway and air transportation.
The project partners outlined the activities related to research under Intellectual Output 1, and initial structure and the design of the OER Platform under Intellectual Output 2. The partners also agreed on project logo and the web domain, in order to foster project visibility and to launch dissemination activities.
It was agreed the next meeting to be held in June 2020 in Malaga, Spain.

Asociatia Babilon Travel is part of the Erasmus+ Youth project Skate-Ring for All, co-funded by the European Union.
The aim of project is to promote idea of integration into society and culture young people visually impaired. Visual impaired persons will motivate the other participants to believe in themselves, raise their self-esteem, overcome their fears, discriminations, raise their awareness and become more open towards others. “One look, one culture” Youth Exchange will offer participants the opportunity to discuss the accessibility of European cities for blind and visually impaired people in social, architectural and cultural aspects. They will learn how to create work conditions in intercultural group where members can have special needs.
32 participants from Romania, Macedonia, Poland and Italy will help to improve Perugia’s accessibility for visually impaired people. Continue reading…
